1. The service
FuelCap ("the app") is a vehicle expense and maintenance tracker provided by the app's developer ("we", "us"). By using the app you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
2. Your data and your responsibility
- Your data is stored on your device. It is your responsibility to keep backups — use the free export feature.
- If you enable cloud sync, we store your synced data to provide that feature, but you remain responsible for your data. Keep your own exports.
- We are not liable for lost data, for example caused by device loss, app uninstallation, or errors.
3. Free plan and Pro
- Free plan: includes one vehicle, unlimited expenses and reminders, all reports, import and free export.
- Pro (subscription): auto-renewing yearly subscription. The price is shown in the store before purchase. It renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple/Google account settings.
- Pro (lifetime): one-time purchase. Pro remains active for as long as the FuelCap app exists — "lifetime" means the lifetime of the app, not a fixed term. If the app is ever discontinued, we'll announce it in advance here and in the app; installed copies keep working offline and export stays available.
4. Payments and refunds
All purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play under their payment terms. Refunds are handled by Apple/Google according to their policies — contact your store or email us and we'll help where we can.
5. Fair use
Cloud sync and storage are provided with a fair-use limit per account. The app is for personal, non-commercial use. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service (for example, automated bulk usage).
6. Accounts
Accounts are optional. If you create one, you're responsible for access to your email inbox. You can delete your account at any time in the app; this permanently removes your account and synced data.
7. No warranty
The app is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. Calculations (fuel efficiency, costs, reminders) are estimates — verify anything important (like service intervals) against your manufacturer's guidance.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for anything connected with the app is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (which, for free users, is zero).
9. Changes
We may update these terms as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
