Privacy Policy

Short version

FuelCap stores your data on your device by default. If you create an account, your email address and the data you choose to sync are stored on our servers. We show no ads, run no trackers, and sell nothing. You can export or delete everything at any time.

1. Data stored only on your device

Vehicles, expenses, reminders and settings are saved locally on your phone or tablet. If you never create an account, none of this data ever leaves your device.

2. Data processed when you create an account (optional)

Cloud sync is an optional feature that requires a free account.

• Email address — used solely to send you a one-time login code. We send no marketing emails.
• Synced app data — the vehicles, expenses and reminders you sync are stored in our database (hosted by Supabase) and are accessible only to your account.

Each account's data is isolated and protected by row-level security; no other user — or we, beyond operating the service — can read it.

3. Payments

Pro purchases are processed by Apple App Store / Google Play. We use RevenueCat to verify and restore purchases; RevenueCat receives your transaction identifiers and purchase state for that purpose. We never see or store your card details or full payment information.

4. What we do NOT do

• No advertising and no ad networks.
• No third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.
• No selling or sharing of your data with anyone.
• No access to your contacts, photos, location history or other apps. (You may optionally type a location name into an expense; the app never reads your GPS position.)

5. Data retention and deletion

• Local data: stays on your device until you delete the app or clear the data yourself. The in-app export feature lets you take everything with you as CSV/ZIP at any time, free of charge.
• Account data: you can delete your account and all synced data permanently from Settings → Account & Sync → Delete account, inside the app. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.

6. Service providers

• Supabase (auth and database hosting for cloud sync) — supabase.com/privacy

• Apple / Google (payments, as applicable)

7. Children

FuelCap is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

8. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date above.
